A journey back through the history of Porsche. Enjoy a close-up experience of the history of Porsche at the Porsche Museum! Encounter legendary racing and sports cars, fascinating production models as well as unusual prototypes. More than 80 vehicles will take you from the early years all the way to the present days of Porsche’s history. Spectacular from the outside and high performance inside: the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Sportscars with the Stuttgart Rössle on the bonnet have been manufactured here at Porscheplatz since 1950. Since 2009 you can expect Dr. Hc F. Porsche AG a spectacular automobile museum that tells you the product and motorsport history of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer. Inside you will see more than 80 vehicles and 200 small exhibits on 5,600 square meters of exhibition space: in addition to world-famous automotive icons such as the 356, 911 or 917, high-tech achievements from the early years of the 20th century make Professor Ferdinand Porsche's heart beat faster for every automobile lover. Incidentally, all vehicles still serve their purpose today: they drive. The Porsche Museum is also incomparable from the outside. The museum building is supported by three V-shaped columns, in which around 6,000 tons of steel are installed - more than in the Paris Eiffel Tower. You cannot miss the sculpture next to the Porsche Museum, the three steles of which are each crowned by a Porsche 911.
